Important considerations when renting a moving lift in Leiden

• Always check whether items fit through the window or balcony door and whether these can be fully opened.
• This is a moving lift, not a crane:
  • Lifting items onto a roof = possible
  • Lifting items over roofs = not possible
• Make sure there are no obstacles (trees, lampposts) between the setup area and the window.
• Sometimes we may temporarily block a street. This is not possible on major roads or tram tracks. If a permit or exemption is required, you must arrange this yourself. To avoid unnecessarily inconveniencing neighbors, it’s best to have everything ready when we arrive.
• Keep parking spaces available, arrange keys for any posts or barriers.
• Do we need to place the moving lift on grass? Check whether it’s accessible (if the ground is soft/wet, have road plates ready). How do you know if the grass is strong enough? A general rule: if you can drive on it with a large car, we can too.
