General terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all services and agreements between Verhuislifthuren.nu ("We," "Us") and its clients ("You," "Client"). By using our services or making a reservation, you agree to these terms and conditions.


1. Definitions

  • Service: the rental of moving lifts and related services.
  • Agreement: the agreement between Verhuislifthuren.nu and the customer regarding the service.
  • Reservation: booking a moving lift for a specific date and time.


2. Applicability

  1. These terms and conditions apply to all offers, reservations and agreements of Verhuislifthuren.nu.
  2. Deviations from these conditions are only valid if agreed in writing.


3. Reservation and confirmation

  1. A reservation is made via our website, by telephone or in writing.
  2. The reservation is final once we have confirmed it by email.
  3. We reserve the right to refuse a reservation, for example if there are any doubts about the safety or correct use of the moving lift.


4. Cancellation

  1. Cancellations by the customer must be made in writing or by email.
  2. Cancellation costs:
  • Up to 48 hours before the rental date: free of charge
  • Within 48 hours before the rental date: 50% of the rental price
  • Within 24 hours of rental or in case of no-show: 100% of the rental price


5. Payment

  1. Payment is made via the methods indicated on the invoice or website.
  2. Payment must be made before the commencement of the service, unless otherwise agreed.
  3. In case of late payment, we reserve the right not to provide the service.


6. Use of the moving lift

  1. The customer is responsible for the correct and safe use of the moving lift.
  2. It is not permitted to use the elevator for purposes other than moving.
  3. Damage caused by improper use or negligence of the customer will be recovered from the customer.


7. Liability

  1. Verhuislifthuren.nu is not liable for indirect damages, such as missed appointments or lost goods.
  2. Our liability is always limited to the amount charged for the relevant service.
  3. The customer indemnifies Verhuislifthuren.nu against all claims for damages from third parties resulting from the use of the moving lift.


8. Force Majeure

  1. In the event of force majeure, such as bad weather, technical failures, illness of personnel or other circumstances beyond our control, we are entitled to suspend or cancel the performance of the agreement without liability.
  2. Payments for services already provided will be offset or refunded, at the discretion of Verhuislifthuren.nu.


9. Privacy and personal data

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Statement, which can be found on our website.


10. Changes

Verhuislifthuren.nu reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. The most recent version applies at all times.


11. Applicable law

These terms and conditions and all agreements are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Verhuislifthuren.nu is located.
