Returns and Cancellation Policy – Moving Lift Rental with Crew
We want you to feel confident renting a moving lift from us. That's why we clearly explain below our terms and conditions for canceling a move or service, and what your rights are under Dutch and European law.
Cancelling a booked moving lift
When you reserve a manned moving lift, we'll free up time in our schedule and keep materials and personnel available for you. You can, of course, change or cancel your reservation, but the following conditions apply:
- Cancellation more than 48 hours before the start: free of charge
- Cancellation within 48 hours before the start: 50% of the agreed amount will be charged
- Cancellation within 24 hours before the start or in case of absence on location: 100% of the amount will be charged
This arrangement is necessary because we cannot schedule another assignment in the short term and costs have already been incurred for personnel and planning.
Right of withdrawal for services
Under European consumer law, private individuals have a 14-day cancellation period for online purchases. However, this right does not apply if the service has been fully performed within that period, or if you agreed to immediate performance of the service when booking and waived your right of cancellation.
When you book a moving lift on-site, you usually agree to the service being performed on a specific day and time. Therefore, the standard right of withdrawal expires once the service has been performed or prepared for performance within 14 days of booking.
Returning products (if applicable)
If, in addition to renting a moving lift, you also purchased a physical product through our webshop (such as moving boxes, straps, or other materials), you can return it within 14 days of receipt in accordance with the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers.
You are responsible for paying for returns, unless the product was damaged or delivered incorrectly. Once we receive the product in good condition, we will refund the full purchase price, including shipping costs, within 14 days.
Report cancellation or return
Want to cancel a moving lift or return a product? Send a message with your name, reservation or order number, and (if applicable) the reason for cancellation to [email address].
After receipt, you'll receive a confirmation from us. Any refunds will be processed as quickly as possible, within 14 days at the latest.
